Miami’s Mustard Service calls itself “zest pop” but I just like to call them “freaking good.” So freaking good in fact, it led Creative Loafing Tampa Bay to apologize for making fun of its name after the band “played one of the best shows we saw in 2018.” At Sunday’s show, hope to hear new songs from the quintet’s 2020 release C'est la Vie and this year’s EP Fiddle Lake.
Maybe the Ybor show will be one of the best of 2021, too. No matter what, stay after the show for another edition of Ybor City’s finest patio party, Ol’ Dirty Sundays, which pays tribute to Brooklyn this week.
Mustard Service w/Taverns/Treis and Friends. Sunday, Nov. 14, 7 p.m. $12. Crowbar, Tampa. crowbarybor.com
