TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) - Mr. Pibb, a two-year-old male pit bull mix, has been at Helping Hands Humane Society since April waiting for a fur-ever home.
He joined Emi Griess on Eye on NE Kansas with word of another food truck night to support the shelter. It’s from 4 to 8 p.m. Saturday, June 5, in the shelter’s parking lot near SW 21st and Belle. Seven food trucks are scheduled to take part: Tod’s BBQ, JL-G Mexi-Q, Smokey Dunks, Poppin’ Mini’s, Behr Paws Southern Oven, Stumpy’s Smoked Cheese, and Poppin’ Squeeze.
