Slinging hot dogs as a virtual brand since December 2020, Tasty Dawg will get its own restaurant.
Tasty Dawg’s first physical location will open at 107 S. High St. Downtown early this summer.
“We wanted to create a fun, casual concept to celebrate the hot dog, one of America’s favorite eats,” says Co-Owner Tom Dailey. “Everything about our Tasty Dawgs will be special, from the oversized, 100% all-beef grilled kosher franks made from select cuts of beef, to the steamed Bavarian pretzel rolls.”
Tasty Dawg’s menu spans classics like the Chicago Dawg and Chili Cheese Dawg, to more uniquely crowned hot dogs with the likes of the Island BBQ Dog, Philly Dawg and more.
The standalone restaurant will see the addition of Italian sausages and plant-based brats on the menu. Diners will find sides like mac & cheese, tots and Amish-style coleslaw. Scoops of premium ice cream will finish off the meal.
Formerly a Subway location, Tasty Dawg will seat 44 for dine-in service, with takeout, delivery and catering also available.
Dailey and Sung Jin Pak launched the virtual, delivery-only concept out of their Zoup! kitchen in the Arena District, 155 W. Nationwide Blvd. Before the leap to its own location, Tasty Dawg joined the likes of other concepts like MrBeast Burger, Fried Chicka Bang and Cluck Norris which operate separate entities out of existing restaurant kitchens.
Tasty Dawg will continue to operate at Zoup! until the new location opens.
Dailey and Pak also own Zoup! locations at 4971 Tuttle Crossing Blvd. and 41 S. High St.
