It’s a hot day here in Florida, and we’re back at Universal Orlando Resort to try more Summer Bites offerings. Today, we checked out the food truck in San Francisco to see what’s on the menu.

- 🆕 Smoky Brisket Melt: smoked BBQ brisket on a French loaf – $11.99
- 🆕 Vegan Melt: vegan cheese, arugula, tomato, and pesto on a French loaf – $10.99
- 🆕 White Cheddar Mac ‘N’ Cheese: white cheddar cheese sauce and Romano bread crumbs – $9.99
- 🆕 Carnitas Mac ‘N’ Cheese: BBQ carnitas, white cheddar cheese sauce, and Romano bread crumbs – $11.99

*NEW* 3 Cheese Classic Melt – $9.99
Move over, Knife, Fork, and Spoon Grilled Cheese from Mythos Restaurant! This is the perfect classic grilled cheese. The bread on each of the melts is fresh and toasted to a perfect crunch. The combination of provolone, cheddar, and pepper jack leads to plenty of gooey cheesiness. We ordered the Cream of Tomato Soup to pair with this sandwich, and we cannot recommend it enough.
*NEW* Smoky Brisket Melt – $11.99
The Smoky Brisket Melt takes home the gold. The brisket is incredible. We were already getting full but couldn’t put this one down. Sorry, brisket crepe, we’ll be stopping by this food truck all summer.
*NEW* Vegan Melt – $10.99
If you need to mix up your plant-based menu, this is a fresh new option. The menu simply says ‘vegan cheese,’ but we noticed several varieties of flavors. The arugula and tomato were fresh. Though the pesto soaked into the bread, the French loaf held up and stayed crispy.
*NEW* White Cheddar Mac ‘N’ Cheese – $9.99
After the flavorful melts, this dish was a little disappointing. The white cheddar is creamy and lighter than your average Mac ‘N’ Cheese, and the noodles were perfectly cooked. This was a one-note plain pasta, and we wished it had a little something extra. However, if you’re looking for some simple comfort food, you’ll be satisfied.
*NEW* Carnitas Mac ‘N’ Cheese – $11.99
This is what the White Cheddar Mac ‘N’ Cheese was missing. The sweet BBQ carnitas over the thick, creamy cheddar was amazing. The portion is generous for the price point, and it was very filling. We would have liked a touch more BBQ sauce, but overall, this will be another dish we keep coming back to.
