When The Mirage finally reopened last month, so did Tom Colicchio’s Heritage Steak, arguably one of the best steakhouses in Vegas. To welcome you back, it’s rolled out a three-course tasting menu (for an incredibly reasonable $68) that highlights some of the restaurant’s noteworthy dishes.
Start with Caesar salad (served with pickled white anchovy and a soft-boiled egg), shrimp cocktail (seasoned with Old Bay and paired with tequila cocktail sauce) or French onion soup. Choosing an entrée may be more difficult, with options of king salmon, roasted farm chicken, a truffle burger or a perfectly cooked filet mignon. Pair with hand-cut fries, potato purée, baked potato or a delectable creamed spinach. For dessert, choose chocolate cake or cheesecake. Dine with a significant other and perhaps you can order both—and perhaps they’ll share.
