Next week, DFW spicy seafood favorite Tasty Tails will open its newest location in Addison.
The restaurant is set to make its debut at 4950 Belt Line Road, Suite 190A, on August 3, bringing New Orleans-style crawfish to the suburb. It’s the second outpost of Tasty Tails that’s currently opening, joining a Richardson restaurant that opened in 2015. It’s officially grown into a chain since its 2013 debut, when owners Vu and Khanh Tran opened the first location of Tasty Tails in a Plano grocery store food court.
At the new Addison outpost, expect seven frozen daiquiri machines slinging boozy slushies in flavors like watermelon, mango, and “blueBrees,” named for New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees. Spicy shrimp and crawfish will continue to be a fixture of the menu, along with Cajun favorites like crawfish etouffee, jambalaya, lobster gumbo, and red beans and rice.
When Tasty Tails makes its debut on August 3, the restaurant will be open for takeout only, and seafood enthusiasts can call 469.730.3142 to place an order.
