CELORON — A tasty tradition returns to the village this week.
RibFest is set to kick off Wednesday at Lucille Ball Memorial Park in Celoron. Vendors will include After Hours BBQ, Pigfoot BBQ, Porky Chicks BBQ, Austin’s Texas Lightning and Buddy’s BBQ.
“Vendors will be providing the ribs and chicken,” said Shirley Sanfilippo of the RibFest Committee. “Fowler’s concession will also be returning and providing the other food and drinks.”
The festival runs from 3-10 p.m. on Wednesday and Thursday and 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the 2020 and 2021 iterations of the festival were canceled. This year’s event marks the return of many of the popular draws to Lucille Ball Memorial Park.

“We have a variety of music and other items to attract a lot of interest,” Sanfilippo said. “I would encourage everyone to attend.”
