READ Jackson County plans to hold three Tasty Tuesday food truck fundraisers this month.
The events will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. this Tuesday and June 20 and 27 at the Seymour campus of Emmanuel Church, 1849 First Ave., Freeman Field, Seymour.
The objective of the events is to bring a variety of food choices to local workers at factories at the Freeman Field Industrial Park, but everyone is welcome to attend.
READ Jackson County offers adult literacy/conversation classes, English as a second language tutoring, tutoring at Girls Inc. of Jackson County for first through third grade students reading 12 to 18 months below grade level, Little Free Libraries across the county and Babies, Books and Blankets, a program that provides a blanket and book to the families of newborns at Schneck Medical Center in Seymour.
