Texans wide receiver Chris Conley has launched a new YouTube miniseries, The Conman Cravings, in which he explores the community and culture of Houston through its food.
"Hello Houston!" he writes in the description of his first episode, which premiered Wednesday on his YouTube channel. "Thank you for welcoming me with open arms. I couldn't think of a better way to get to know the Houston culture and community than visiting some of the most iconic eateries around the area."
The first episode takes place at Coltivare in the Heights, where chef/owner Ryan Pera opened the restaurant early to give Conley a tour of Coltivare's famed garden, kitchen and signature dishes.
Conley, an avid streamer and aspiring filmmaker, teased the series in a trailer on Aug. 22 that he first previewed on Twitch. Upcoming videos will be released on YouTube every Wednesday at 12 p.m. CST for the next four weeks.
The Conman Cravings Episodes:
1) Coltivare (Sept. 8)
2) Burns Original BBQ (Sept. 15)
3) The Breakfast Klub (Sept. 22)
4) Irma's Original (Sept. 29)
