What would you do if you woke up in your Disney World Resort and walked into the lobby to head to Magic Kingdom, and noticed that a baby giraffe was staring at you? Sounds slightly terrifying, right? Well, what if we told you that the giraffe was actually a massive gingerbread cookie shaped into the majestic animal?
Walt Disney World Resort always takes the holidays seriously, and there is so much more than just the Park decorations that you can see at Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, Disney’s Animal Kingdom, and Disney’s Hollywood Studios. The Disney World Resorts are all currently decorated for the holidays with garland, decor, trees, and more. Some Resorts are also just as spectacular as Main Street, U.S.A.!
Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort puts up a huge gingerbread house each year (excluding last year due to the pandemic), which leaves Guests craving some cookies, and now, Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge is jumping into the gingerbread fun!

Disney Parks (@DisneyParks) Tweeted that the Pastry Chef Team at the Resort constructed a baby giraffe made from gingerbread! Guests can see the creation on display through to January 1!

Disney World Guests can also enjoy the holidays by attending Disney Very Merriest – After Hours event on select nights at Magic Kingdom. On top of that, Guests can meet Santa while visiting EPCOT in the American pavilion as well as at Disney Springs.
