OAK LAWN, IL — More than a dozen bands are scheduled to perform in Oak Lawn this weekend as part of the second annual Fall Music Festival that offers local residents the opportunity to enjoy good music and good food all within the same space.
The festival kicks off on Friday and runs through Sunday at 95th Street and Cook Avenue and features 15 bands that will entertain crowds with a variety of musical genres. The festival, which is free, will feature three stages, food tents, and food trucks as organizers celebrate the changing of seasons.
Attendees must be at least 21 years old or, if under 21, must be accompanied by an adult, organizers said.
"The Fall Music Festival is an exciting musical celebration that marks the arrival of fall,” said Deanne Adasiak, who is helping to organize the second annual event. “This is a great chance to enjoy live performances by a wide range of artists from various genres.
“While the music fills the air, we have excellent food vendors on hand to provide tantalizing bites.”
Food offerings will be provided by Palermo’s 95th, Nicky V’s, Lucky Burrito, Genoa’s Italian Concession, The Creamery, and Nothing Bundt Cake.
Free parking is available at Patriot Station, which is located at 9525 Tulley. Free shuttle service is available to and from Patriot Station to/from 52nd Avenue and Dumke.
